I've played on new patches and one of the things that always bothered me is how much every class has changed, not talking just about the skill effects and animations but mainly how every job hits many lines.
So um I've talked with the admin about the increased amount of lines for almost all jobs and how it affected the gameplay for me (and probably some others) and in his opinion it would be better to have more lines for every job. I disagree with him and would like to know how most people would like it on this server.
On normal v83 servers a priest wouldn't hit with angel ray 4 times it would only show up as one line.
Would you also like to keep the original amount of lines?
example:
Angel Ray hits 4x 400 instead it will hit 1x 1600
same damage but 1 line
edit: there is NO damage cap, i was worried about this at first too, but there isn't a damage cap

I understand your point and a few years back maybe i would've agreed with you.
however, I strongly disagree. It is a much more pleasing experience with more lines. I dont know what the dmg cap is but it would also be extremely annoying to reach it cause u have an 1x1600 attack instead of 4x400

yeah forgot to mention this, there is NO damage cap so this wouldn't be a problem

Forgot to mention one thing. There might be a new damage cap at 5m at first. When players are hitting the max cap. We will increase the damage cap again. And for your questions, you like to see high damage more than many lines but lower damage.
Let me tell you the purpose of this "lines". It's giving players to have a higher chance to get critical hits.

yeah forgot to mention this, there is NO damage cap so this wouldn't be a problem oh i see. My opinion of this is very split then. I dont really care in that case to be honest.
