Are you using Windows 8?
Cause I've heard that if you just keep on trying it eventually works, you can also try closing your browsers, which also should help it work. Somehow?
Don't know if this is true though.

Yes ginger i am using winwdows 8, and a couple of friends told me to try running it until it works, but i ran it like 30+ times and still get the error "the parameter is incorrecT"

Try closing your skype or steam if any, and see if it works? Mine happens cause' of skype

Also putting compability on win 7 or xp and running the game as administrator helps

me too. sometimes my client works but most of the time it doesnt. i keep trying between changing compatibility to windows 7 and xp until it works. this is really annoying i'm running windows 8.1 btw |
